Elles sont class\u00e9es au Patrimoine Mondial de l&rsquo;UNESCO. A une quarantaine de km au nord d&rsquo;Ubud, Jatiluwih est au pied de trois volcans, les monts Batukaru, Sengayang et Adeng. La route est souvent tr\u00e8s belle, mais comme souvent ici, pas toujours facile d&rsquo;y circuler ! du riz est un travail harassant, qui ne s&rsquo;arr\u00eate jamais ! Les parcelles tournent : sur certaines, on pr\u00e9pare les jeunes plants, sur d&rsquo;autres on fait pousser \u00e0 maturation les plants de riz dans l&rsquo;eau, pendant que d&rsquo;autres sont ass\u00e9ch\u00e9es, et il semble que la jach\u00e8re soit aussi pratiqu\u00e9e. Sans parler de la r\u00e9colte et de la r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration des grains pour le s\u00e9chage&#8230; Il faut ajouter \u00e0 cela un tr\u00e8s ing\u00e9nieux syst\u00e8me d&rsquo;irrigation, qui permet d&rsquo;inonder certaines parcelles et d&rsquo;en ass\u00e9cher d&rsquo;autres. L&rsquo;eau coule en permanence sur les rizi\u00e8res, et les milliers de canaux doivent \u00eatre entretenus en permanence&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Rizi\u00e8re Jatiluwih\" encore en majorit\u00e9 un travail manuel tr\u00e8s dur, en permanence les pieds dans la boue.<\/p>\n<p><a \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Arriv\u00e9s \u00e0 Ubud, nous sommes all\u00e9s manger comme pr\u00e9vu au Ibu Oka, un Babi Guling, porc cuit \u00e0 la broche. Le restaurant ressemble un peu \u00e0 une grande cantine, au plat presque unique, puisque qu&rsquo;on y mange les porcs tu\u00e9s la veille au soir et cuits pendant la nuit. Le service s&rsquo;arr\u00eate vers 18 heures. Nous avons pris du porc pan\u00e9 et frit. Elles sont class\u00e9es au Patrimoine Mondial de l&rsquo;UNESCO. A une quarantaine de km au nord d&rsquo;Ubud, Jatiluwih est au pied de trois volcans, les monts Batukaru, Sengayang et Adeng. La route est souvent tr\u00e8s belle, mais comme souvent ici, pas toujours facile d&rsquo;y circuler ! Apr\u00e8s une bonne heure et demie, nous sommes enfin arriv\u00e9s.
