On a donc essay\u00e9 de passer entre les gouttes, mais \u00e7a a \u00e9t\u00e9 difficile\u00a0!<\/p>\n<p>On a tra\u00een\u00e9 ce matin au petit d\u00e9jeuner, puis on a pris le chemin de l\u2019Upper East Side, direction Le Guggenheim Museum. Notre premier arr\u00eat\u00a0: Grand Central Terminal, la grande gare de Manhattan, avec son hall majestueux, et ses guichets \u00e0 l\u2019ancienne. Le plus fou, c\u2019est qu\u2019il y a sous ce gigantesque hall, un hall encore plus grand et plus haut, qui a abrit\u00e9 pendant la seconde guerre mondiale un centre de communications de guerre\u2026<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"IMG_0949.JPG, avr. 2012\" src=\"https:\/\/carnetsdevoyage.net\/newyork2012\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/general\/jour7\/IMG_0949.JPG\" alt=\"IMG_0949.JPG\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Le Guggenheim, avec son architecture en forme d&rsquo;escargot&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-91 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/carnetsdevoyage.net\/newyork2012\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2017\/06\/IMG_0952-1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"IMG_0956.JPG, avr. 2012\" src=\"https:\/\/carnetsdevoyage.net\/newyork2012\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/general\/jour7\/IMG_0956.JPG\" alt=\"IMG_0956.JPG\" width=\"450\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On a ensuite redescendu Lexington Avenue, pour visiter le Withney Museum\u2026 Malheureusement, alors que c\u2019\u00e9tait un mus\u00e9e tr\u00e8s attendu (belle collection de Hopper\u00a0!), on est arriv\u00e9 en pleine biennale, consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019art contemporain\u2026<\/p>\n<p>On a renonc\u00e9, et on s\u2019est rabattus vers une pause Starbuck, puis on est reparti vers le Rockfeller, pour noyer notre chagrin dans les magnifiques cupcakes du Magnolia Bakery (et oui, il y a une autre boutique dans le rock\u00a0!).
