{"id":1069,"date":"2018-08-14T13:05:14","date_gmt":"2018-08-14T11:05:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/carnetsdevoyage.net\/yucatan2018\/?p=1069"},"modified":"2018-12-13T09:54:48","modified_gmt":"2018-12-13T08:54:48","slug":"de-campeche-a-xpujil","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/carnetsdevoyage.net\/yucatan2018\/2018\/08\/14\/de-campeche-a-xpujil\/","title":{"rendered":"De campeche \u00e0 xpujil"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On a quitt\u00e9 San Francisco de Campeche ce matin vers 7h30, pour partir tout au sud de la p\u00e9ninsule, pr\u00e8s de la fronti\u00e8re du Guatemala. 370 km \u00e0 faire, 4 heures de route, jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la toute petite ville de Xpujil, o\u00f9 est notre h\u00f4tel pour la nuit.<\/p>\n<p>Je dis h\u00f4tel, mais Casa Ka&rsquo;an, ce sont quelques jolies petites maisons en plein c\u0153ur de la jungle, dans la R\u00e9serve de Biosph\u00e8re de Calakmul. Cette immense zone, qui se prolonge au Guatemala est l&rsquo;un des poumons verts du continent, et on y trouve un tr\u00e8s grand nombre d&rsquo;esp\u00e8ces animales, dont 5 des 6 grands f\u00e9lins mexicains : puma, jaguar, ocelot, tigre margay et jaguarrondi ( appel\u00e9 aussi chat loutre&#8230;). On r\u00eave bien s\u00fbr d&rsquo;en croiser un (en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9, dans la voiture, ce serait encore mieux !). On peut ajouter des centaines d&rsquo;esp\u00e8ces d&rsquo;oiseaux, de cerfs, de sangliers, et tout un tas d&rsquo;autres bestioles&#8230; Bref, c&rsquo;est la jungle, la vraie !<\/p>\n<p><img avons visit\u00e9 deux petits sites Mayas int\u00e9ressants. Nous ne sommes plus en r\u00e9gion Puuc, mais en r\u00e9gion Rio Bec. Cette zone Maya est un peu plus ancienne que Chichen Itza ou la r\u00e9gion Puuc, et la plupart des b\u00e2timents datent\u00a0 de la fin de l&rsquo;\u00e8re classique Mayas, entre 600 et 800.<\/p>\n<p>Le premier site est Becan. Cette cit\u00e9 \u00e9tait enti\u00e8rement entour\u00e9e de douves, qui servaient \u00e0 stocker l&rsquo;eau pour la saison s\u00e8che. plus petit, mais plus particulier sur le plan architectural. C&rsquo;est le site de Xpujil. Le b\u00e2timent principal est dot\u00e9 de trois tours qui n&rsquo;avaient qu&rsquo;un but esth\u00e9tique.
